Introducing Featured Setups! We begin with a copper 26650 mod setup.
I’ve been wanting to do this for a while now, so I’m going to introduce our new Featured Setup section. I’ll post these once a month or so, but this is a great way to show off combination rigs that work well and look cool.
I’m going to kick this off with a sweet 26650 setup that I’ve been using in heavy rotation for several months now. For this rig I’ve paired a copper Hades clone with a Zenith version 2 and an awesome MLV copper drip tip.
This setup is really nice if you’re into copper mods. I’ve started using 26650 mods and I’m really liking them! The 26650 gives you a TON of power. I’m using the MNKE battery which gives me almost 4000 mAh of power. This will easily last me 2 days and I do a lot of vaping. My usage with a fresh battery at the start of the day (4.2) is only down to 4.1 when I put it back on the charger at night. This is really nice – just put this battery in and vape into the future!
This setup is obviously larger than a 22mm mod, but I don’t have to carry an extra battery and it still fits in my pocket just fine. The whole setup matches, looks amazing and it’s quite the conversation starter.
The Copper Hades Clone
I really love this mod. I bought the clone as I haven’t seen a copper Hades from the Footoon. This version has copper contacts and a magnetic switch. It looks amazing and is extremely comfortable to use. Being copper, you do need to clean the contacts at least once in a while. I just use Brasso for this and it works just fine. Its a very solid mod, its easy to set up and I’ve had no issues with battery rattle thanks to the nice floating pin.

Zenith v2 RDA
The Zenith is one of my favorite RDA’s. I’ve been vaping this in heavy rotation since I got it and its a nice pairing with the Hades clone. The Zenith comes with air flow control material options – I ordered mine in copper and its a great match to the Zenith. The airflow control ring only comes into minimal contact with your juice. Keep this clean on the inside when you rebuild. Again – a little Brasso and this thing cleans right up. I did a full review on my Zenith RDA a few months ago. One of my favorites for sure.
Major League Vapers Wide Bore Diamond Drip Tip
For the Drip Tip I’ve chosen the copper wide bore from Major League Vapers. I’ve bought a ton of drip tips since I started vaping and I’m very picky. Most of them are WAY too tall. I like a lower profile. The MLV wide bore diamond has a copper base and a pyrex glass top. The top is removable and really easy to rinse if you get juice buildup. Pyrex can get a little nasty so being easy to rinse is key. Since the top is clear it keeps a low profile and looks even smaller than it is while remaining comfortable to vape on. The O rings are top quality and it fits every RDA I’ve put it on. It also comes in stainless steel and brass if you need it to match something else.
And the best part is the bore is wide enough to drip with. You don’t have to take it off to juice your coils. You just drip right through the opening!

MNKE IMR 26650 3800 mAh Flat Top
This is the 26650 of choice. Its a top notch battery and its not terribly expensive. The mAh rating is outstanding – really long life between re-charges. I’m getting 2 days of normal use out of these. And it has the amp rating to handle really low sub-ohm builds if that’s your thing.
