The Orca RDA is an extremely affordable rebuildable dripping atomizer made by Focusecig. These are the same folks that make the Storm A atty. This little atomizer is quite impressive considering its price which makes the Orca an obvious choice to have in your collection as a backup or additional atomizer. And for less than dinner is going to cost you, you get something that’s somewhat unique and stylish as well. Think of an igo-w that you don’t have to mod with 3rd party top caps.
Breaking down the Orca RDA
The Orca breaks down into 3 parts. You have the deck, the air flow control ring and the knurled stainless steel topcap. The deck is a conventional, 3-post design which easily accommodates single and double coil builds. The juice well is nice and deep, however the air flow holes sit fairly low so if you want this to take a lot of juice, you’ll need to experiment with your wicking technique a little. The negative posts are cleanly connected to the deck. The air flow controller offers 3 air flow choices. I prefer to leave mine wide open – its just right for me. The top cap screws on to lock the air flow ring in place and features a knurled texture which makes it really easy to screw on and off.

The entire RDA is a streamlined 22mm so its sits flush and looks really nice on any 22mm diameter mod. Personally I think this is a really slick match for a mod that features knurled caps like the King mod V2.
Is this RDA for me?
At under $20, I don’t know why you wouldn’t just pick one up to try. There’s nothing faulty on here at all – its an incredibly priced dripper with air flow control so you can’t really go wrong. If you’re on a serious budget or you’d like a good starter RDA, this is a fantastic choice. The IGO W is the standard everyone has gone with for a while, but honestly the Orca RDA has a nice airflow control. The IGO W doesn’t have this. If you wan’t more air flow control via the slot design, you can spend an additional $5 and get Focusecig’s Storm A. I think the Orca looks a bit cooler personally, but you can’t go wrong in either case. Focusecig is producing some fantastic RDA’s at almost nothing. These are a serious value.
