The Innokin iTaste MVP version 1 is a simple box mod that I think should be in everyone’s collection. Why? Well, several reasons:
- Dead simple to use
- Runs for days on a single charge
- Fits any eGo or 510 connection
- features an external USB so you can charge your phone
- extremely affordable

The Innokin iTaste MVP is a solid box mod. Its pocket sized and features a built in battery (non-replaceable) with a 2000mAh rating that will literally last for days without charging. The iTaste MVP features a small display with 2 buttons. Operation gives you a puff counter and variable voltage from 3.0 to 5.0 volts so you can dial in the vape to your own taste.
The bottom of the unit uses a mini USB 3.0 connection for recharging the unit. It also features a USB connection at 5 amps with an on and off switch for powering external devices. This is absolutely awesome for traveling as you can keep your phone charged and still be able to vape.
There is a version 2 of this unit out now that features variable wattage as well. This is nice if you want it and if you don’t you’ll find the prices on the version 1 have gone down dramatically. Its comes in a kit with a charging cable and 2 iClear 16 heads. Very good deal and at about $40, its nice to have as a small charger that can vape once in a while – perfect for traveling!
If there is any downside at all – well, its a box mod. Not everyone digs the form factor and its not a big fiddly mod. I like it because its size is perfect for putting in your pocket and the external power ability is a huge bonus.
